how we work
a one-stop shop for women in agriculture to access training, capital, and market.
our methods

Participating farmers receive training on the following topics, with the goal of improving business practices that can double or triple household income. The training takes place in-person through bootcamps along with a WhatsApp based self paced curriculum.
Module 1: Gender in Communities and Households
Module 2: Entrepreneurship
Module 3: Finance (Farm and Household)
Module 4: Leadership and Storytelling
Module 5: Income Diversification
-
A selection committee consisting of subject matter experts, local partners and past farmers that are recipients of seed awards review the business proposals to select the farmers that will receive micro-grant awards.
-
We host regular gatherings of smallholder women, together with other actors in the coffee supply chain for peer mentorship.
-
We connect farmers with coffee roasters globally, at higher prices.
Our programs are women-centered and community-driven, designed to dismantle cultural dynamics, bridge the gender gap, and allow for the resilient growth of the community.
