Women-Powered Coffee Summit

October 2-4 | Chiapas, Mexico

Why We’re Coming Together

This isn’t just another coffee event.

For three years, the Women-Powered Coffee Summit has been a meeting ground where smallholder women coffee farmers lead the conversation—and the future of our industry.

In 2025, we’re deepening that commitment: creating a space where voices are amplified, opportunities are shared, and the industry’s center of gravity shifts toward equity.

  • The summit aims to connect women from various sectors of the coffee industry, including producers, traders, roasters, baristas, and researchers, and provide a safe environment for them to gather and foster connections.

  • The summit seeks to create a space and platform for women to be the protagonists of their own stories, recognizing their knowledge and experiences that are often ignored or unheard.

  • By showcasing successful women in the coffee industry and emphasizing the importance of climate considerations and intersectionality, the summit aims to unlock potential and create opportunities for women to build thriving businesses.

For the first time I felt a big change in the power dynamic; for the first time as a trader from the global north, I was in minority and the thought and feeling of this still makes me smile.”
