International Market access
Smallholder producers, especially women, have been deprived of fair market opportunities for generations.
Our access-to-market program works to connect smallholder women coffee producers with coffee buyers around the world.
This is how we do it:
We conduct internal quality analysis regularly to select coffee lots from our network of womxn-powered coffee producers and farms to offer to buyers.
We facilitate conversations between our producer partners and buyer partners. We ensure that the right match is created between producers and buyers to ensure a long-lasting and sustainable relationship.
We focus on storytelling to foster relationships and strive to ensure that thriving prices are paid to producers to grow their businesses, and consistently great quality coffee is provided to buyers.
Buyers recognize our work through our Care Fund - a small amount added to the final contract price, and we reinvest the Care Fund into our Care Programs - Care Training, Engagement and Support.
To challenge the power dynamic in the coffee value chain, we equip producers with tools and information to negotiate for a better price. We believe that coffee is much more than just a commodity, and coffee producers deserve a thriving livelihood.
